Superintendent Orr announced, "Mrs. Davis will collaborate with our current GT teachers as they continue to strive to meet the needs of our GT students across the district." Mrs. Davis has just completed her 20th year in the classroom, beginning at Logan County for five years and then at Bremen Elementary and Longest Elementary where she has been the Academic Team Coach for the past eight years. "I am excited to take on this new role as well as enthusiastic about the future of the Gifted and Talented Program in Muhlenberg County Schools," Davis shared.

Mr. Lile is finishing 22 years in Muhlenberg County Schools with the past 13 years as an administrator. Just before 2 PM today, one of our Muhlenberg County school buses was involved in a vehicle crash. Emergency and medical personnel responded to the scene. No students were on the bus and the driver and monitor were taken to a local medical facility for further evaluation. Our thoughts and prayers go out to all involved
