Attention deer hunters...Students in one of Mr. Cronin's ag classes recently completed a project where they were challenged to create a charcuterie board. They had been discussing the variety of venison products and some used it on their boards. Great work!

The Board of Education recognized three wonderful employees of the district at this month's board meeting for demonstrating our Effective Collaborator competency from our Profile of a Learner. Bus driver, Gale Fulkerson, along with her monitors, Candace Lile and Jennifer McGehee, have started a "bus rider of the week" reward program for their elementary bus riders. They collaborated with SOAR to get a few books as rewards for good behavior. It has been a huge success. Thank you, ladies, for being Effective Collaborators.

We have another PRO Card recipient submitted by Muhlenberg South Elementary... At Muhlenberg South Elementary, we’re proud to celebrate individuals who embody our school district’s Profile of a Learner framework. Today, we recognize Bob and Marcie Peglow, the dynamic duo behind the Kona Ice truck and Travelin' Tom's Coffee truck! ☕🍧 The Peglows are more than just entrepreneurs—they are engaged citizens, showing up at community events and supporting local schools, including ours! They exemplify effective collaboration by working together seamlessly to bring joy and service to our area. Their success comes from being creative problem solvers, finding unique ways to spread happiness and caffeine in our community. Whether it's creating the perfect cup of coffee or a colorful shaved ice masterpiece, they demonstrate the importance of skilled communication in connecting with others. Through their dedication, they also remind us of the value of lifelong learning, modeling what it means to be empowered learners who continuously strive to improve and adapt. We are grateful for Bob and Marcie’s impact on our community and for living out the principles we aim to instill in our students every day!

On November 8, Paul and Donna Rager along with their family presented checks to the coordinators to be used to help families in need. Thank you for being a wonderful example of effective collaborators in our community, Rager family!

The MCHS Business Program fall advisory meeting was held yesterday at the high school. A variety of community members and business owners, in addition to our business teachers, attended. They shared ways to work together to enhance the educational experience for our Mustangs and discussed ways to ensure the students are prepared to meet the needs of our local businesses and community. Thank you to all who attended. A spring CTE Advisory Meeting, co-hosted by the Greater Muhlenberg Chamber, is being planned for all pathways.

Check out our latest recipient of our PRO Card submitted by Muhlenberg South Elementary... Mr. Isakovic owns and operates Request Express. He contracts with carriers all across the US to help truckers unload freight at places like schools. He was gracious to bring in 24 pallets of new student desks and chairs into MSES. He worked non-stop for over two hours moving freight from the 18 wheeler to his hauler with a lift gate and then to the ground where each pallet of furniture was then manually pulled into the building. He resides in Bowling Green with his wife and kids. He is the perfect example of being Passionate, Relentless and Outstanding. Mr. Isakovic is a true PRO!
