MCHS held our second Mustang Madness yesterday. The excitement was contagious. Staff and Students were all having fun and getting involved. The battle for the spirit stick was fierce. The Sophomore's came in with a close second, however, the Spirit Stick remains with the Seniors! We had tug of war against grade levels. The Seniors won by grade level and then they had to take on the Staculty. Although the war was hard fought by the Staculty, the Seniors walked away with the victory, and possibly some sore hands. We had the human version of Hungry Hippo where the Sophomores won the game from the other grade levels. Aftewards, the Sophomores had to compete against the Staculty and the Sophomore's could not pull out the victory. We played basketball knockout and the Sophomore's won that game against the other grades AND Staculty. We had an exciting relay race with Staculty members and their own MCHS Student. There were many laughs and spills with this race, and coming out on top, would be the Sophomore's once again.
The culture is changing around the high school for the better. The Staculty AND Students are happier than ever. Mr. Carver is proving to be the Principal this school needed. His new culture blueprint is working. The "Herd" is coming together as one, and everyone is "Doing The Work".
